Serrazyme is a proteolytic enzyme, i.e. it has the ability to break down protein. It is isolated from the micro-organism, Serratia E15, an enzyme that is naturally present in the silkworm intestine. Today this is processed commercially today through fermentation.

The silkworm has a symbiotic relationship with the Serratia microorganisms in its intestines. Theses enzymes are secreted by bacteria living in the silkworm intestines seem to target avital or dead tissue and have no detrimental effect on the host's living cells. By dissolving a small hole in the silkworm's protective cocoon (avital or dead tissue), the winged creature is able to emerge and fly away

Recommendations:
To Begin 3 caps, 3 times per day until first bottle is finished, then 2 caps, 3 times per day for second and third bottles.
